Bob Mitchell
As our Marketing Director Bob created much of what you see on our website today. Now, as a full-time REALTOR®, he focuses his energy exclusively on his clients. At Home Center Sotheby’s International Realty uses his unique photography skills to present his properties in the best possible light.
His enthusiasm for the business of real estate and especially for the Sotheby's International Realty brand comes from a number of sources.
He brings a record of accomplishment in the marketing of luxury motor vehicles and prior to that was a director for Domestic and International Merger and Acquisition at the country's largest provider of demographic data to the automotive industry.
His passion for the water and the coastal lifestyle is no doubt due to his being a lifelong resident of the South Shore. Bob and his wife Kathy spend as much summer time as possible cruising the harbor islands and beyond. A father of two and proud grandfather of three, Bob understands the needs of families as they develop and grow as well as when they resize their living situation.
He is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Massachusetts Association of Realtors, the Plymouth and South Shore Association of Realtors (PASS), and Multiple Listing Service (MLS) and he is a Notary Public in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Additionally, he uses his expertise in business information technology to assist the Board as the Chair of the Marketing & Technology Committee. He is also a member of the Real Estate Cyber Space Society.
On the non-business side of his life, he is a long-time member of the Neighborhood Club of Quincy and more recently of the Hull Yacht Club (where he moors his Ranger 26.)

Testimonials
“Bob has a wealth of knowledge on many issues. His questions are thought provoking and I have always found him to be thorough in his research on the matters at hand. His recommendations and suggestions for improvement have always been in the best interest of the organization.”
David Solomon, Owner, Amity Insurance Agency, Inc.
“I have worked with Bob in co-branding educational programs for elders as they navigate the "right-sizing" options in senior housing options. His attention to detail, prompt responses and follow-through methods are his strengths. I would recommend Bob for his professional style and sales expertise.”
Lynda Chuckran, Director of Community Relations, Welch Healthcare and Retirement Group
“I've worked with Bob in marketing numerous real estate listings on the South Shore. Unlike many real estate professionals, Bob has a great understanding of what it takes in the current real estate climate in regards to the proper presentation of a home on the internet, and how to market it online in the best possible light, using professional grade photography, videography and home staging.”
